This Chain Deck Pipe facilitates the storage of anchor lines out of the way below the deck and reduces the risk of trip hazards on deck. The oval opening pipe can accommodate a large thimble and line up to 1 inch in diameter in addition to the shackle and chain. Chains can remain in the slot every time the cover is closed. It was also constructed of chrome-plated forged brass. This replacement cup or chain is handy if you need a boat gas cap or a locking insert for safety.
