The Sea Dog Marine is a premium electric oil pump that is compact and lightweight. This type of pump is a self-priming 12V pump that attaches to battery terminals with alligator clips. The electric oil pump has a maximum time of 30 minutes. At the suction side, the pump can create a vacuum. Because it can lift liquids, foot valves are not required. Only before the first start-up is a liquid fill required; the pump will re-prime itself after that. The Sea Dog oil pump is not recommended for pumping away transmission oil, water, or combustible liquids and is not for commercial use.
