Spray painting allows you to paint or change over practically anything quickly and easily, but it can be difficult to apply if you don't follow a few fundamental guidelines. The ease of use of spray paint over other types of paint on textured things, such as wicker, where there are many nooks and crannies on the surface is much easier to paint with no paint build-up from having to force a brush into is a big plus. Spray paint, in general, takes at least a few hours to cure completely. After a few hours, you can handle and recoat the discomfort. Some brands, however, take much longer. The paint may need to cure for up to 24 hours. When spray painting any item, you'll need at least two light coats, if not three, done at different angles to ensure complete coverage. More light coats are preferable to one heavy coat, but make sure to put them on within an hour.
