3. Put the dipstick on the top of the clean paper towel.

4. Fully drag the stick straight downward.

Note. Instead of pulling the stick out and trying to read it right away, take that stick that you pull out and place it sideways on top of a clean paper towel.

5. Place straight down into the towel to reveal the oil level that is on the dipstick.
