J/E Fuel Pump - BRP (438555)

The Fuel Pump is compatible with Johnson Evinrude outboard models 20-30 hp, 1990-2000, with a small nipple. It conveys the required quantity of fuel from the tank to the engine at the necessary pressure. It transfers liquid from the fuel tank to the carburetor or fuel injector of the internal combustion engine. These are ideal applications for a low flow while retaining the factory lines and mounting provisions available in the OE configuration. The fuel pump makes a loud and whining sound indicating a problem. These can be caused by an electrical fault, old age, and the fuel in the tank has contaminated with dirt and moisture.
