The marine outdrives consists of a kit with a transom mounting plate that is through, a constructed propeller shaft housing that is pivotally attached to a pivot member that is pivotally mounted to said transom plate, and this allows for freedom of movement in two planes. A flexible part and a shock absorber sustain and maintain the outdrive under tension in the horizontal plane, automatically maintaining contact with any surface with the boat's keel.

The element that rotates a rotary kiln is the driving assembly. Although there are many different drive assembly arrangements, the choice of one kind over another depends on the drive horsepower and the size of the kiln.
