UV-stabilized ABS makes up the Sea-Dog Quarter-Turn Deck Plate. The enhanced locking system prevents overtightening, jamming, and cross-threading. An internal, molded-in collar on the bottom of these deck plates holds deck plate bags or other spherical containers. Use silicone sealant on the hull or deck surface while installing. Clean the threads with hot, soapy water. Use Vaseline or Teflon grease to lubricate the joint. Six #8 FH fasteners are required for installation (not included). Avoid acetone and other powerful solvents.
