BRONZE GARBOARD DRAIN (3-520040-1) is the first set of planks or plates laid on the boat’s bottom near the keel. It is a retention system that helps prevent loss and allows water to escape from the bilge. The threaded bronze fittings securely plug a drain hole. When seawater or rain piles up inside the boat. It can be open to allow all the water to flow out to avoid further damage critical to the engine.
