Deck plates are utilized for tank and compartment storage, inspection, and cleaning, as well as unrestricted access to shut-off valves and back-fastenings.

The clear middle plate variant allows for visual inspection and viewing of controls or gauges without removing the plate.

Recommends screw-out style plate for compartments where air pressure may change due to temperature or oil-canning.

UV-stabilized ABS makes up the Sea-Dog® Quarter-Turn Deck Plate. The improved locking system prevents overtightening, jamming, and cross-threading. It's simple to open and close. For a leak-tested seal, a specially manufactured lubricated gasket is utilized in conjunction with a knife-edge. It Requires Six #8 FH fasteners for installation (not included). A patent application is in the works. Avoid using acetone or other powerful solvents.
