This superior nylon insulation won't break or crack compared to the opaque/solid color PVC insulation used on automotive connectors. The barrel is to grip the wire tightly with minimal effort, and the tinned copper gives the least amount of electrical resistance while simultaneously delivering excellent corrosion protection.
