The X16' XTREME 4300 CNTRL Cable (CCX-433-16) cable is a 16-foot extension of our premium cable for XTREME Slim Series rotary actuators. This cable comprises threaded stainless steel conduit and fittings, and it's built to survive for years with no upkeep. The 4300 cable has a 5" minimum bend radius, making it excellent for under-dash applications and nominal travel of 3" for throttle control.
Even in the longest and most intricate cable routings, XTremeTM delivers unsurpassed smoothness and efficiency – with almost no lost motion – because of its unique splined core. It results in a superior feel at the controls and performance previously thought to be 'impossible.'
The stiffness of the core wire and how firmly it fits in the shell determine the stiffness of traditional cables. As a result, the conventional trade-offs in control cable design exist: a stiffer core/tighter fit delivers less lost motion but is more difficult to move. Cable movement gets more difficult as the run lengthens and becomes more intricate.
