Model number CCX17914 SeaStar 14' Mariner, Mercury, Mercruiser, and Force Xtreme control cable (600A). Gen I Mercury controls fit Mercury and Mercruiser models manufactured after 1965. Mercury/Mariner controls are used on all Mariner engines (except pre-1993 40 HP and lower models). Force (US Marine) controls from 1993 with Force/US Marine/Mercury. Xtreme Control cables' novel splined core enables smoother control without sacrificing accuracy. The control cable's core's ridges create a control cable with simple motion and minimal motion loss, enabling a close fit with the cable's inner liner while minimizing contact. The HDPE outside shell is sturdy and exhibits great UV and chemical resistance.
