A high coolant temperature alarm is used in generator protections to notify the operator when the engine has a high coolant temperature. The coolant temperature can be determined using either a coolant temperature switch or a coolant temperature sender.
An on-engine protection mechanism called a coolant temperature switch keeps track of the engine's coolant temperature pressure. It has two modes - open or closed and is often screwed onto the engine block. The SWITCH Volvo Penta (872066) is composed of high-quality materials and components to provide optimum performance. It has undergone extensive mechanical and electrical testing. Direct fitting facilitates easy installation.
