These Wide D-Shackles have straight sides with a U-shape rounded bottom. The extra width provides maximum opening aperture. The U-shaped end can handle heavy loads even on the straight sides (may cause bending). Designed for rigging applications with bi-directional loads. Ideal for use on mooring buoys. Constructed of corrosion resistant forged 316 stainless steel.
