An ignition spark tester is a gadget that can be used to see if an electrical current is reaching your engine's spark plug. That current is used to detonate the air and fuel mixture inside the engine's cylinder to generate power.
Low-voltage insulations and medium-voltage non-conducting jackets or sheaths are the most commonly tested. In high-frequency AC equipment, the test unit forms an electrical cloud around the cable, which appears as a blue corona. The electrical field will ground if there are any pinholes or faults in the insulation, and this flow of current will be used to discover an insulation failure.
One in-line sealed cylinder, Red spark, gap tester Personal watercraft are ideal. Sealed design is an added safety feature that decreases the risk of gas vapors igniting, particularly in the hull of a PWC. Checking the spark on a running engine is a good idea.
