The rotor is a moving part of an electromagnetic system used in an electric motor, generator, or alternator. The combination of the windings and magnetic fields generates torque around the rotor's axis, which causes it to rotate.
A rotor ship is a ship that uses the Magnus effect for propulsion. Substantial powered vertical rotors, often known as rotor sails, drive the vessel at least. Rotors are the moving parts of an alternator that include permanent magnets that rotate around the iron plates of the Stator to create alternating current (AC). Rotors require current motion to function. A Rotor will only work with a Stator to give a charge if the engine or turbine is already operating.
Key Features:
Suits 2001 and newer MCM/MIE 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, and 6.2L MPI Engines with ECM 555 S/N 0M300000 or above.
It offers excellent mechanical strength.
A consistent air gap
It has a small diameter and long axial length and requires more torque than a salient pole rotor.
