NEW ALTERNATOR - 65 AMP (118-5956)

New Alternator is a built-in regulator with a single wire hook-up connection, no corer, and a 68 AMP alternator. It is for Mercruiser sterndrives and many other applications. An alternator plays the main part in the charging system and does not need maintenance but needs a replacement if it is not working. If the alternator doesn't work well, an engine may still run for a short time until the battery power is depleted.
It supplies direct current (DC) power to all electrical systems in an engine and keeps your car alive when the engine is running.
