A component of any drive shaft assembly is the slip yoke. The slip yoke assembly permits drive shafts and PTOs to bend or "slide" in response to their application. The slip yoke is also necessary for proper u-joint rotation with the driving shaft. The most critical aspect of any slip yoke is to keep it lubricated throughout the drive shaft's life cycle.
