- In engines with more than 240 horsepower or capable of speeds greater than 38 knots, type C stainless steel propellers should be used (45 miles per hour).
- A Series numbering corresponds to J-Series numbering (approx.) example A5 =J5.
- B Series numbering corresponds to one size larger J-Series numbering (approx.) example B5 =J6.
- Propeller cones, propeller nuts, and washers are utilized in the same way as in the A and B series.
