Ignition Module - BRP (586650)

The ignition system of the car is not complete without the ignition module. A signal from a pickup coil, Hall Effect, optical sensor, or the ECU is used by the ignition module to switch the ignition coil at the right time and for the right amount of time. The ignition module must be compatible with the vehicle's ignition system and limit current to the ignition coil to minimize overheating and performance loss brought on by high temperatures. An ignition module failure might prevent a spark from reaching the motor, and stalling it. For the engine to function, it needs four essential components: fuel, compression, spark, and exhaust. The car won't start if the ignition module has failed because there won't be any spark.
