FUEL GAUGE (F16001)

This device calculates the amount of fuel, a transmitting device that measures the actual quantity of gasoline remaining through a gauge indicator that sends this information outside the fuel container.

The fuel level gauge works by delivering a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to the ground through a variable resistance transmitting device. The amount of current permitted to flow through the sender to ground changes as its resistance changes, and the meter deflects, indicating the fuel level.
