Volvo Penta DPS-B FH Duoprop type prop is a helical spline set made of stainless steel for DPS-B sail drives. Stainless steel has thinner blade material and torsional strength than aluminum blades transmitting better power and force. Stainless steel is also more durable, highly resistant to corrosion, cavitation for longer service life.

This prop does not flex at high speeds hence can sail farther hence, a highly economical fuel consumption. Stainless steel blades are suitable for an abrasive environment. It can withstand harsh ocean waters and can run better in shallow water too. Blades won’t flex if you accidentally hit the water ground or something underwater.
