The MaxBlast Dual Trumpet Air Horn is robust stamped 304 stainless steel with an over-molded stainless steel motor housing. The trumpet should point slightly downward when placed to allow for water drainage. The MaxBlast Single Trumpet Horn has a sealed sound unit that is prewired. Horn wiring has no polarity; either wire can be connected positively or negatively. It has a volume of 123 decibels and a frequency of 39015/33015 hertz (Hz). For vessels up to 20 meters (66 feet), this horn complies with the US Coast Guard's COLREGS, US Inland Navigation Rules, Annex III Regulations, and ABYC standard A-23. The horn can be powered by 12 or 24 volts of DC.
