The fulcrum handle bracket moves the diaphragm, which draws air or liquid into the chamber through the suction valve and expels it through the discharge valve. The hand pump is dependable, portable, and light. After each usage, flush the pump with water to prolong the life of the valve and diaphragm. If the diaphragm or valves exhibit wear, corrosion, or cracking, replace them.
