Product Overview

Faria is one of the leading manufacturers whether you need a simple analog instrument or a sophisticated digital engine monitoring gauge. Faria follows strict quality standards for high-grade performance and good benefits. Faria has the right solution for you for your needs.

BCI (F13012) - The Faria Battery Condition Indicator (BCI) is intended to display your 12V battery's relative state of charge. The BCI monitors the battery voltage with high resolution and accuracy.

When the charging voltage exceeds 12.7 VDC, the gauge may peg. It is recommended to use an in-line switch to keep the gauge "off" except when checking the pressure condition of the battery (charging system off).

Installation Instructions:

  1. During installation, disconnect the battery.
  2. Make certain to use stranded, insulated wire rather than lighter wire than the 18AWG approved for marine use.
  3. Make a 2-1/16" diameter hole in the dash and install the gauge using the supplied back clamp.
  4. Connect a wire to the "GND" gauge stud (ground) and fasten with a nut and a lock washer.
  5. Connect a wire to the "+" gauge stud (positive) and tighten with a nut and lock washer.
  6. Connect the blade terminal near the twist-out light assembly to the boat's positive "+" side circuit for instrument lighting.
