This lug is composed of annealed tinned copper for optimal current flow. Copper with 100 percent tin plating resists corrosion from salt and moisture. When crimped, the seamless barrel design allows for maximum strength. Closed-end construction keeps moisture out, keeping wires dry and corrosion-free. In any situation, the tin-plated copper terminal base provides good electrical connectivity while also guarding against corrosion. These are suited for maritime and outdoor battery cables and other power-supply applications.
